About Phoenix Takapuna
Feminine and luxurious is how to describe Phoenix.
Phoenix is the brainchild of make-up artist Phoenix Renata. Still in her 20s, this entrepreneurial young woman saw a gap in the market and set out to fill it. After three years of intensive research and product development, Phoenix created a range of make-up that caters to all women.
Now she has eight boutiques across New Zealand and is close to opening another in Melbourne, Australia. The boutiques are all staffed by trained make-up artists – something Phoenix thinks is essential to ensure clients leave with the correct make-up for their skin type and colouring.
“With the boutique I wanted to create an environment in which people would feel relaxed and at home and not intimidated to try new products.”
Ultimately Phoenix’s dream is to grow Phoenix Cosmetics into a make-up brand that women look to for beauty and fashion advice, with products and services that excel.

Make-up has always been a passion for Phoenix Renata. Her background includes work for prestigious cosmetic companies such as M.A.C and Christian Dior.
Named the ‘Eyebrow Queen’ by colleagues and clients, Phoenix is a specialist in eyebrows and has shaped the brows of many well-known models, even fellow make-up artists.

We realise that sometimes it’s necessary for you to change or cancel your appointment. Out of courtesy to our staff and other clients who are waiting for an appointment, we kindly ask that you provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you wish to change or cancel your appointment. We reserve the right to charge full price for no shows, cancellations and changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice.
