A scent with the tagline “ I had to have it”, its sure to get us excited.
We decided to explore the new Covet Pure Bloom scent by Sarah Jessica Parker with a real life roadtest and our recommendations for getting the best wear out of this delicious new scent.

The bottle was being passed around the office, each of us taking a sniff and passing it along. And when the purple bottle landed on my desk, I already had an idea of what it would smell like. I had, after all, read the press release a month earlier, the base notes listed as Amber and Sandalwood – I had a vision of a really seductive dark scent. Something akin to CKbe or maybe Shalimar.
But the first whiff was anything but, the scent is amazingly warm with sweet plum notes and a zingy crisp and clean finish from the top notes of manderin. As the scent dries down, and your body heats it up it unfurls with sweet musks and Jasmine. It’s feminine but in a kind of deconstructed

“Everything I love in a perfume!”
Celebrity perfumes can be a bit dodgy – there have been some notorious shockers in the past which can put you off buying any others. Although I was a bit sceptical at first, one spritz and I was in love. It smells sweet, warm and floral – everything I love in a perfume! One of my all time fav scents is Babydoll by Yves Saint Laurent and this reminds me of it, though with a unique twist. It’s so feminine; the perfect girly perfume!

I’d really been looking forward to trying Covet Pure Bloom as I’m a big Sarah Jessica Parker fan; so I was delighted when the cute little bottle landed in the office. This smells gorgeous – I’d describe it as a sweet, warm fragrance that has a vaguely familiar feel to it (like a good memory). This would be perfect for everyday wear in summer as it’s subtle, though has enough presence to make people sit up and notice. Love it!
