Summer is on the way and if you are looking for a little inspiration then maybe a new perfume can do it.

This screams summer in a bottle to me, from the sunshine coloured liquid to the blend of bergamot, citrus and summer fruits. It’s a fresh and clean modern take on scent which never fails to make me smile upon smelling it; I think it might be the faint whiff of suntan lotion.

2: Comme des Garcons Holiday 08 Energy C Series Lime
Citrus scents are always huge for spring and summer, although it’s more often than not that people forget the lime. The zingy more aromatic cousin to oranges and lemons makes a great base for this scent which combines tea rose, cedar and lily into an incredibly fresh and clean modern scent.

3: Creative Scentulisation Perfect Nectar
What’s more summery than the scent of papaya and mango, balanced out with the crisp white notes of white summer florals? Tea gives the scent an interesting heart, making it not too sweet or floral even for the hottest day.

4: Lancome Tresor EDT
Peaches and Apricots lend this sweetly seductive scent some summer kudos, but the legs of the scent have to be in its musky vanilla base, making it a heavier summertime scent but one that oozes a seductive side.
